Amrita School of Engineering

Amrita School of Engineering college distinction of being Amrita's first center for higher learning. ASE is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The Amrita Institute of Technology and Science, to cater to the increasing needs of technical manpower in the country. The School of Engineering have organized various national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, colloquia, contests, training programs, etc. during the last five years.

The goal of the school is to make its programs the best in the country based on a focused approach with respect to the critical areas of curriculum, teaching-learning, student support, infrastructure and research. The Institute has it's Campuses located at Amritapuri, Bangalore and Coimbatore.The beginnings of Amrita University can be traced to 1994 when a School of Engineering was started in an obscure village named Ettimadai, at the foothills of Bouluvanpatty ranges of the Western Ghats in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu.

The Institution shall be streamlined into Engineering, Management and an International School.Among these are business, dentistry and an unusually complete array of paramedical professions, including pharmacy and physiotherapy.Clearly, the undergraduate programmes in Engineering at the College offer its students the optimum setting in tertiary education.
