Bharat Institute of Technology & Science for Women was established in the year 2008 in order to cater to the educational needs of female students in technical education in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The college offers Under Graduate B Tech Courses in various engineering streams.
