About College

Affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad, the DVR College of Engineering & Technology was established by the Devarakonda Educational Society. The mission and vision of our Institution are greatly inspired by the President of this Educational Society, Mr. D. Vittal Rao, former Member of Parliament, a philanthropist and an avid promoter of quality education. 

DVR offers undergraduate B.Tech degree programs in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Civil, Information Technology and Chemical branches of engineering with a total intake of 530 students every academic year. Each of the departments has well qualified, experienced and distinguished members of faculty along with superior lab facilities to students avail. 
We boast of a 100 acre eco-friendly campus located in the village of Kashipur, Sangareddy Mandal, away from the various kinds of pollution of the city; creating an amicable ambiance for students to study in. The college is just 45 kilometers away from the capital city Hyderabad and is on its way to becoming part of an educational hub, with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and the GITAM University also emerging in the vicinity. A lush green environment, superior infrastructure and facilities (digital library, fully equipped labs and workshops), avant-garde sports facilities (with an AstroTurf cricket pitch also a part of our campus) and with excellent teaching methodologies in place, we are an epitome of higher learning. 

In the 14 years of its existence, DVR College of Engineering & Technology has been striving relentlessly to provide aspiring engineering students with the means (excellent technical education) and the ends (a prosperous career). Through our sustained efforts we are emerging as a center of excellence while also transforming ourselves with the ever changing needs of education year after year. 

A result of our hard work, DVR College of Engineering & Technology will be an autonomous body in the next few years.
