Jaya Institue of Technology and Science for Women, Warangal is sponsored by JAYA MEDICAL & EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY of warangal.It was formed in the 1985, with the view to impart Medical & Technical education to the people of Andhra Pradesh.

The college is situated Heart of the city. It is at a distance of 5 kilometres from Warangal railway station and 1/2 Km from Hanumkonda Chowrastha. It is the first Womens Engineering college started in the Warangal Dist under KU,Warangal.
