About College

Ragas School of Nursing, Chennai was established in 1992 in the name of S.P. Educational Trust. Government approval in having charged the trust from S.P Educational Trust , Chennai to another Trust namely Ragas Educational Society, Chennai. Ragas Educational Society is founded Mrs. K. Vijayakumari and Ragas Dental College & Hospital is also a part of Ragas Educational Society. 

Jaya Educational Trust (Contains all Para Medical, Engineering and Arts Courses) is the another Trust founded by Prof. A. Kanagaraj, to provide Education and the required training in health care and patient care to poor people belongs to rural area. Ragas School of Nursing is started by the Ragas Educational Society founded by Mrs. Vijayakumari, to render health services and to promote health education to meet the health needs of the community, to ease out the nurses scarcity in the country.
