Saveetha College of Nursing is one of the constituent Colleges of the University, started in the year 1992 with an intake of 50 B.Sc (N) students. At present the College has B.SC(N) with 100 per annum intake, P.B.B.Sc(N) with 50 per annum intake and M.Sc(N) with 30 per annum intake comprising of 6 seats in speacialities such as Medical Surgical Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Child health Nursing, Mental health Nursing and Community Health Nursing. The nursing college is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and also by the Tamilnadu Nurses & Midwives Council, Chennai. To be, and to be recognized for setting the standards of excellence in professional education and high quality scientific research."
