Jharkhand Gramin Bank, sponsored by Bank of India, was established on 12th June, 2006, consequent upon amalgamation of four erstwhile Regional Rural Banks – namely, Ranchi Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Singhbhum  Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Hazaribag Kshetriya Gramin Bank, and Giridih Kshetriya Gramin Bank. Head Office of Jharkhand Gramin Bank (JGB) is located in Ranchi, the Capital of Jharkhand State, India. JGB is operating in 15 out of 24 districts in the State of Jharkhand, and it has a network of 224 branches, under the jurisdiction of four Regional Offices.

Eligible candidates who have declared qualified in the online CWE for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/ October 2017 may apply online for the Jharkhand Gramin Bank Recruitment. IBPS stands for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and RRB stands for the Regional Rural Bank that is local level banking institutions which are operating in different Indian states. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the many posts for the IBPS RRB 2017 Office Assistant vacancies to recruit the eligible candidate. The IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2017 notification will be released in July 2017 by the IBPS department on the office web portal. The RRB Office Assistant examination 2017 is divided into three stages. The Preliminary exam will conduct on 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd & 24th September 2017 and Mains exam will conduct on 12th November 2017. Those students who will get select in the Prelims, only those are allowed to appear in the main exam.
