The Malwa Gramin Bank is one of the Regional Rural Bank. It is sponsored by the State Bank of Patiala. The Bank was started on 27 February 1986. The bank was started with just Rs 1.00 crore as capital. The bank was started with an idea of providing its customers with an excellent service. On 29 July 2010, the Malwa Rural Bank was transformed into cent percent, computerized Ban. The Malwa Gramin Bank provides Service at par with any Commercial Banks.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the many posts for the IBPS RRB 2017 Office Assistant vacancies to recruit the eligible candidate. The IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2017 notification will be released in July 2017 by the IBPS department on the office web portal. The RRB Office Assistant examination 2017 is divided into three stages. The Preliminary exam will conduct on 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd & 24th September 2017 and Mains exam will conduct on 12th November 2017. Those students who will get select in the Prelims, only those are allowed to appear in the main exam.
