Haryana Gramin Bank and Gurgaon Gramin Bank stand amalgamated vide GOI Notification no 7/9/2011-RRB( Haryana ) dated 29.11.2013 and the new entity will be Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank under the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 ( No. 21 of 1976 ) and the new entity called as Serva Haryana Gramin Bank with its Head Office at Rohtak ( Haryana ) sponsored by Punjab National Bank, the Leading Bank in Indian Banking industry.

The Bank is sponsored by Punjab National Bank. The Bank is incorporated as a Scheduled Bank in Schedule - II of Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 and is authorized to affect banking transactions as permitted under section 5(b) of Banking Regulations Act, 1949.
