Allahabad University UGAT Entrance Examination Eligibility Criteria – 2015

For B.A. / B.S. ( GDS ) / B.F.A. /  B.P.E. / B.Mus. Course:

An applicant who has passed or appeared in any stream of the Intermediate examination conducted by the U.P. Board / C.B.S.E. / I.S.C. or an examination equivalent thereto is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Tests.

For B.Sc. ( Maths & Biology)

An applicant who has passed or appeared at the above examination with Science Group is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. ( Maths & Biology group respectively )

For B.Sc. ( Home Science )

Only such female applicants who have passed or appeared at the above examination either with Science Group, or

With any other Group having Home Science as one of the subjects after having passed the High School ( or equivalent ) examination with Science Group are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test.

For B.Com Course:

The candidate who has passed or appeared in the above examination with Commerce stream or Science stream will be eligible.

For B.A. ( Music ) / B.Mus.

Applicants forms of only those candidates would be considered who have Music as one of the subject at Intermediate level or they have passed equivalent examination in Music from recognized Institution.

For BPE Course:

The candidates must have appeared or passed in qualifying ( Intermediate Level ) Examination with minimum 40% Marks ( relaxation for SC / ST as per rules ).

Candidate must not be more than 21 years old on 1^st July of the academic session ( 2015-16 ) in the running year admission, these may be relaxed upto 25 years in case of qualified in service permanent teacher of physical education and SC / ST candidate. Candidate will be given credit for sports & NCC.

For BFA Course:

Candidate must not be more than 22 years old on 1^st July of the academic session ( 2015-16 ) in the running year UGAT-2015 Registration.
