Central University of Gujarat, a Central University established by an Act of Parliament 2009 (No. 25 of 2009) came into existence on 3^rd March 2009 and is fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India through UGC. The university currently operates from campuses in Sector 29 and 30, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The University invites online applications from eligible candidates for admissions to its academic programmes. An Online Entrance Test would be conducted at 17 Centres across India. The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in the different programmes / courses such as M.A., M.Sc., M.L.I.Sc., M.Phil. & Ph.D. Programmes for the Academic year 2015-16. Admission of various courses in Central University of Gujarat is based on Entrance Examination conducted by the University. Interested candidates can apply online in the university website from 25^th May 2015 to 20^th June 2015. The Online Entrance Test will be conducted on 05^th July 2015.

Admit Card for Entrance Test:

Admit Card will be issued by the University only to those candidates, who have submitted the Online Application Form complete in all respects on or before the last date for its submission. The candidates will need to download their Admit Card from the Admissions Page of the University's website: www.cug.ac.in. The Admit card must be produced at the Entrance Test Centre along with a photo identity of the candidate issued by a competent authority.
Permission to appear in the entrance test is subject to the candidate's fulfilling minimum eligibility requirements prescribed for admission to the concerned programme of study and as notified in the Prospectus. A candidate may, therefore, appear in the entrance test only if she/he fulfills the eligibility requirements for the programme for which the admission is sought. A candidate who does not meet the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed for the concerned programme and appears in the entrance test despite this caution shall do so at her/his own risk and cost. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements, her/his admission, if granted, shall be cancelled without any notice.
