Central University of Gujarat, a Central University established by an Act of Parliament 2009 (No. 25 of 2009) came into existence on 3^rd March 2009 and is fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India through UGC. The university currently operates from campuses in Sector 29 and 30, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The University invites online applications from eligible candidates for admissions to its academic programmes. An Online Entrance Test would be conducted at 17 Centres across India. The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in the different programmes / courses such as M.A., M.Sc., M.L.I.Sc., M.Phil. & Ph.D. Programmes for the Academic year 2015-16. Admission of various courses in Central University of Gujarat is based on Entrance Examination conducted by the University. Interested candidates can apply online in the university website from 25^th May 2015 to 20^th June 2015. The Online Entrance Test will be conducted on 05^th July 2015.

Note:

Admission fee, Enrolment fee, General Security Deposit and library security deposit are payable at the time of enrolment in the University.
Examination fee for M.Phil.-Ph.D. shall be payable at the time of submission of M.Phil. Dissertation and Ph.D. thesis for evaluation.
Fine amounting to Rs. 50 per week shall be levied for non- payment of the prescribed fees on due date as specified by the University.
The fee structure is valid for the academic year beginning from 2015-16.
Convocation fee, if any, for the conferring of Degrees or for other purposes may be decided by the University at appropriate time. If a student does not pay the requisite fees by the notified date, a fine will be levied as per rules of the University.
