Rayalaseema University is named after the Rayas of Vijayanagara Empire – one of the most powerful rulers of South India during the 14-16 centuries AD. The Rayas of Vijayanagarawere great patrons of learning, art, and literature. The University is fortunate to be situated on the very soil where they lived and ruled.

The University has an academic history of 35 years and is located in an extensive campus of about 356 acres of land. At present the University envisages its growth in terms of promoting equity and access, relevance, quality and accountability to redeem the irredeemable backwardness of the region through democratization ofhigher education.

RUPGCET-2015, Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, invites applications online for admission into various postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce offered at Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, and its affiliated colleges, for the academic year 2015-16.

RUPGCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Rayalaseema University Post Graduate Common Entrance Test ( RUPGCET-2015 ) Eligibility Criteria Details – 2015 :

The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the subject concerned.

For the courses where admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage of marks in the group subjects should be at least 40%.

For admission to M.Ed., the aggregate marks in B.Ed. / B.El.Ed should be at least 50%

For admission to D.El.Ed with UG Degree course with 50% marks in each course.

A pass is sufficient for SC / ST candidates for admission to any course.

Candidates who have already passed the qualifying examination or who have appeared /are appearing for the final year annual examination in 2015 are eligible to apply. Supplementary candidates of 2015 are not eligible.
