SRM University Haryana, Sonepat is a full-fledged State Private University established under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006 as amended by Act No.8 of 2013 .The University is a part of the SRM Group of Institutions which has been running three Universities SRM University Chennai, SRM University Haryana and SRM University, Sikkim with 20 prestigious Institutions in the multiple streams of Medical, Engineering, Management, Law and Humanities all over India.

SRMHCAT-2015 a Nationwide Entrance Examination would be held through online as well as offline mode, candidates can choose their exam mode as per their preference and convenience. Successful candidate of SRMJEEE will also be eligible for admission in to SRM University Haryana subject to the condition that the Haryana Domicile Scholarship is restricted to SRMHCAT applicants alone. SRMHCAT is an All India level Entrance Examination for Admission into first year of all the Programmes being offered by the University. Eligibility Criteria SRM University Haryana, Sonepat Common Admission Test ( SRMHCAT ) Entrance Examination – 2015

SRM University Haryana announced Common Admission Test SRMHCAT-2015 for the admission of various UG and PG courses. SRMHCAT is an All India level Entrance Examination for Admission into first year of all the Programmes being offered by the University

For B.Tech Courses:

Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board. The candidates who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in the examination.

Candidates must have taken five subjects in 12th Standard. He / she must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology ( Eligible for admission in B.Tech-Bioinformatics only ) as core subjects in 12th Standard.

It is required to score at least 50% aggregate in PCM / PCB in the qualifying examination i.e. XII Board Exam.

For BBA.LL.B ( Int ) / B.A.LL.B ( Int ) / BBA-MBA ( Int ):

Candidate must have passed 12^th Standard or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in the examination

For LL.B / MBA:

Candidate must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination.

For BBA.LL.B ( Int ) / B.A.LL.B ( Int ) / LL.B:

Besides SRMHCAT-2015 candidates, Candidates with valid score obtained in ( LSAT—India ) / CLAT ( Common Law Admission Test ) / NLU-Delhi / DU Law Faculty Entrance Exam apart than SRMHCAT 2015 will be considered for admission.

For M.Tech ( Computer Science & Engineering ):

Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M.Sc ( Computer Science / Information Technology ) or MCA and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination.

For M.Tech ( ME / Production Engineering ):

Candidate must have passed B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engg. / Production Engg. / Automobile Engg. / Industrial Engg. / Aeronautical Engg. and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination.

For M.Tech ( ECE / Microelectronics ):

Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M.Sc ( Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Physics with specialization in electronics ) and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination.

For M.Tech ( CE / Structural Engineering ):

Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Technology and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination.

For M.Tech Biotechnology ( Pharmaceutical / Industrial ):

Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology / B.Pharmacy / M.Sc Biosciences / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Bioinformatics / Life sciences and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination.
