Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test ( TANCET )

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state-level examination, conducted by Anna University for the admission to post-graduation programmes like M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Arch in various colleges/institutes of Tamil Nadu. All the interested candidates must check their eligibility before applying online for TANCET 2019. Candidates belonging to other states can also apply for TANCET 2019 but the eligibility criteria for that will be decided by the exam conducting authorities. Also, the eligibility criteria vary for each programme. To get admission through TANCET 2019, candidates have to appear for a written test which will be conducted in offline mode at various centres across Tamil Nadu.

TANCET M.Tech Exam Pattern 2019

Anna University decides the TANCET M.Tech 2019 exam pattern which is divided into three parts, part – I and Part – II (compulsory) and Part – III (questions from their chosen courses). The exam will be conducted in offline mode for 2 hours and consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and for wrong answers or multiple shading, 1/3 marks will be deducted.

TANCET MBA Exam Pattern 2019

TANCET MBA exam pattern 2019 is decided by Anna University and the exam is conducted in offline mode for 2 hours. The total number of question is 100 and each correct answer will be given 1 mark. However, there will be negative marking and 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates must also keep in mind that in case they have shaded multiple boxes, 1/3 marks will be deducted for that too.

TANCET MCA Exam Pattern 2019

The exam pattern of TANCET MCA 2019 is prescribed by Anna University and the exam is conducted in offline mode. Candidates are advised to use black ball point pen only. The question paper will consist of 5 sections with a total of 100 questions. Time allotted to finish the exam is 2 hours and there will be negative marking as well 1/3 marks will be deducted for shading multiple boxes.
