Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is a state-level entrance exam conducted every year by the Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) which was previously known as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). AKTU has released the UPSEE notification 2019 for admission to undergraduate engineering courses as well as other UG and PG courses in various colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Around 400 engineering colleges accept candidates for admission to B.Tech. courses through this exam. This is a huge opportunity for engineering aspirants.

The online registration started on 23rd January 2019 and will continue till 15th March 2019. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 21st April 2019 for all courses.

Candidates planning to appear for the exam must fill up the UPSEE application form and apply for the exam at the earliest. UPSEE 2021 Counselling Procedure

UPSEE 2019 Counselling Procedure:

Based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the UPSEE 2019 a merit list will be prepared. Candidates scoring higher marks would be placed higher in the merit list whereas those scoring lower marks would hover at the bottom.

Candidates who will feature in the merit list would be called for document verification process. After the document verification candidates would be allowed to take part in registration and choice locking process.

Counselling process for UPSEE 2019 will be scheduled for June 10 to July 15, 2019. UPSEE Counselling would be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the UPSEE 2019 merit list as well as the choice locked by the candidate at the time of choice locking process.

The procedure for counselling is as follows:

Candidates shortlisted for counselling would have to pay the required registration fee to initiate the process.
Registration fee would be INR 20,000 for general and OBC candidates and INR 12,000 for SC/ST candidates.
The registration fee is adjustable at the time of taking admission.
Candidate can freeze the seat that takes the seat allotted and quit the counselling process, float the seat that keeps the allotted seat on hold and go for further rounds of counselling or Withdraw the seat allotted and also withdrew from the counselling process.
