Vikrama Simhapuri University ( VSU ) came into being by Act No. 29 of 2008 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh fulfilling the long-cherished dreams of the people of Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district. Applications are invited for admission into various post graduate courses ( M.A., M.Sc., M.Com.,M.S.W. and M.Ed. ) offered by Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore at its constituent and affiliated colleges during the academic year 2015-16. The admissions into the above courses are through the Post Graduate Common Entrance Tests conducted by Vikrama Simhapuri University, VSUPGCET–2015.The admissions are governed by the VSUPGCET–2015 rules and regulations given in this booklet. The Advisory Committee of VSUPGCET–2015 reserves the right to change or modify any of the rules.

VSU 2021 PG - Fees Structure Details

Vikrama Simhapuri University ( VSU ) Post Graduate Common Entrance Test ( PGCET ) PG Fees Structure – 2015 :

M.A., M.Sc., M.Com. , M.S.W. and M.Ed.

Fee details of all courses at different institutions will be sent to all the candidates called for counseling and the same will be made available in the website.

Each admitted candidate has to pay the fee immediately in the bank counter provided at the counseling venue.

In addition to the course fee, each admitted candidate has to pay an additional amount of Rs. 400/- ( Rs.200/- for SC / ST category) towards counseling fee.

Fee concession is allowed to SC / ST / BC / PH candidates for regular and self financing courses on production of valid certificates and income certificates as per the G.O.s in vogue. Fee concession is not applicable for Payment and NRI categories.

There is no age restriction for Admission into any P.G. courses. However, those candidates who crossed the age of 30 years for OC, 34 years for BC, SC and ST are not eligible for claiming / applying any Fee Reimbursement ( As per Memo No.10537/SW. Edn.2/2011, dated: 01-11-2011).

The Fee Reimbursement is limited to the extent of Rs.20, 000/- only ( wide G.O. M.S. 56, S.W. Edn.-2. Dept dated 6.10.2003 ) and if the fee is over and above Rs.20,000/- the remaining amount has to be paid at the time of counseling failing which he / she has to forfeit the seat

If any admitted BC / SC / ST / PH category candidate does not get fee reimbursement from the Government, he / she will have to pay the specified fee to the University. Or if the government reimburses only part of the fee, the student has to pay the remaining fee.

For withdrawal from any regular or self-financing course after the closing of admissions, one has to pay the total course fee without concession and get back the original certificates.

Fee for Payment Seats

For admission into payment category seats of regular courses in the University constituent colleges, the following additional fee is to be paid at the time of admission ( no need to pay in second year ) in addition to the fee prescribed for regular course:

Organic Chemistry / Biotechnology / Botany / Food Technology / Mathematics / Microbiology /

Marine Biology / Physics / Zoology – Rs. 30,000/- ;

Economics / Political Science and Public Administration / M.Com. – Rs. 20,000/- ;

M.S.W. – Rs. 15,000/- ;

English / Telugu – Rs. 10,000/-
