Common Entrance Examination for Design ( CEED )

The objective of the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is to assess the candidate’s aptitude for design involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills. CEED is conducted by IIT Bombay. It is a qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIT Kanpur, and to Ph.D programmes in Design at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Kanpur. Qualifying in CEED alone does not guarantee admission to any of these programmes. Admitting institutes may conduct further tests and/or interviews for the final selection/admission.

CEED 2019 2021 Application Fees

CEED application has to be paid online by means of debit/credit card or net banking. Candidates are informed that CEED application fee is non-refundable and so they should pay the registration fee with utmost care.

All foreign nationals Rs 2600

Candidates who fail to submit their CEED application form within the stipulated time need to pay a late fee of Rs 500 if they submit their application form between November 10 to November 16, 2018 (till 11:45 pm).
