Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya ( GKV ) Entrance Exam was conducted by Gurukul Kangri University Gurukul Kangri University.

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya was founded on March 4, 1902 by Swami Shraddhanandaji with the sole aim to revive the ancient Indian Gurukula System of education, on the bank of Ganges at a distance of about 6 km. from Hardwar and about 200 km. from Delhi. This institution was established with the objective of providing an indigenous alternative to Lord Macaulay’s education policy by imparting education in the areas of vedic literature, Indian philosophy, Indian culture, modern sciences and research.It is a deemed to be university fully funded by UGC / Govt. of India.Arya Samaj has been advocating women’s education since the day it was founded.

As part of its policies for the up-liftment of women in the country, Kanya Gurukula Campus, Dehradun was established in 1922 by Acharya Ramdevji as a second campus of women’s education. To give real shape to the dreams of Swami Shraddhanandaji, Kanya Gurukula Campus, Hardwar was established in 1993.

For B. Tech Lateral Entry :

Candidate has to fill application form for the entrance examination online at the Vishwavidyalaya website ( www.gkv.ac.in ) .

Get the print out of filled application form and printed application form must be submitted / send to the office of Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar along with a demand draft of Rs 600/- in favour of “ Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya” payable at Haridwar on or before last date.

Admission Procedure

Admission shall be made on the basis of merit of entrance examination to be conducted by Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar on July 01, 2014 as per the availability of seats in different Branches of Engineering.

For Admission to B. Tech. II year, candidates have to produce following certificates:

(i) High school Certificate & Marksheet.

(ii) Intermediate ( 10+2 ) Certificate & Marksheet.

(iii) B.Sc./ Three Year Diploma Certificate & Marksheet.

(iv) Migration & TC from the institution last attended.

(v) Character certificate from the last institution last attended.

(vi) Reservation category certificate, if applicable.

(vii) If there is gap between the passing year of last examination and the admission, The candidate shall have to submit an Affidavit by notary on Rs. 10/- stamp paper in prescribed format.

(viii) Candidate has to bring 8 photo graphs & 4 photocopies of High School Certificate & Marksheet, Intermediate ( 10+2 ) Certificate & Marksheet, B.Sc./ Diploma Certificate & Marksheet.
