LNM Institute of Information Technology ( LNMIIT ) Entrance Examination

The LNM Institute of Information Technology ( LNMIIT ), is a deemed university located in Jaipur, India, on an 100-acre ( 40 ha ) campus. The institute is a public-private partnership between the Lakshmi Niwas Mittal and Usha Mittal foundation and the Government of Rajasthan as an autonomous non-profit organization.

Students who appear in either the Joint Entrance Examination Main conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education are eligible to apply for admission to the LNMIIT. The LNMIIT considers the JEE MAIN marks as well as the DASA mode ( Foreign National / PIO / NRI ) to offer admissions to the candidates.

LNMIIT offers direct admission to boys within top 10 ranks and girls within top 20 ranks in the senior secondary exam of the 12^th class conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan. Only students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English in 12^th class are considered for admission through this route. For B.Tech. Course:

LNM Institute of Information Technology ( LNMIIT ) admission to B.Tech Course will be based on the following modes.

Such as JEE ( Main ) / Meritorious Student of Rajasthan State Board / Direct Admission to Students from Abroad ( DASA ).

Scholarships ( in terms of waiver of a part of the tuition fee ) are awarded to the meritorious students based on the following criteria:

1^st semester:

The following students are eligible for scholarships in the first semester.

Top rankers of JEE Advanced exam

Students admitted via the “Meritorious Students of Rajasthan State Board” mode.

2nd semester onwards:

Academic performance at LNMIIT namely CGPA >= 9.0.

Scholarship policies are reviewed by the Academic Council and Governing Council from time to time.

Note:

Over 10% of the admitted students, in the previous year ( 2014 ) were given a tuition fee waiver ranging between 25 – 75% in the first semester.
