Thapar University ( TU ) was established on 8 October 1956 as an Engineering College named Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. It is a University established in 1985 vides Sec.3 of the UGC Act, 1956.Thapar University offers undergraduate programs BE / B.Tech / LEET in Engineering, Science, Management and Social Sciences. Thapar University ( TU ) Engineering Entrance Examination PG Application Procedure -2015

Application form for the admissions have been issued.

Candidates may submit the form before June 12, 2015.

To apply, candidates have to fill two application forms, GATE 2015 Application Form and Thapar University 2015 Application Form.

The latter would be available in online mode on the official website of the university.

In the form, you have to provide details of personal, educational and communication information correctly and completely.

Also, you are required to pay an application fees to complete the process.

On submission of the form, you have to take two printouts of the form.

Thereafter, two recent colored passport sized photos must be pasted on the application form.

You can pay the application fees in online mode and offline mode.

Application form must be filled only after reading the terms of eligibility.

Online fee payment

Amount of application fee is Rs. 1500.

You have to pay the fees through credit / debit card by entering password, card number, CVV number and card holder name.

Option of fee payment would be made available in the application form itself.

Offline fee payment

You can pay the fees in offline mode by paying a DD of Rs.1500 in favor of “Thapar University”, payable at Patiala.

You have to send the form along with DD to the following address: In-charge Admission Cell, Thapar University, Patiala -147004

You can check the application form status later on the official website of the university to see if your application form has been received or not.

To check the status, you have to enter application number correctly and press the submit button.
