The University College of Engineering (UCE) has the distinction of being the oldest and the biggest among the Engineering Colleges of the State of Andhra Pradesh.Hyderabad, In view of Telangana Bandh, the Entrance Tests for admission to M.E./M.Tech (PTPG Courses) scheduled on June was postponed and the same has now been rescheduled on June.The entrance test will be held on June 27th For  ECE and at 2.30 pm for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Rules Regarding Reservations Of Seats :

SC, ST & BC candidates who get seats by merit in General category will not be counted against the seats reserved for them and such candidates will go into the list of general seats.

If sufficient number of candidates are not available to fill up the seats reserved for SCs they shall be filled up by the suitable candidates from STs and vice-versa.

 If the required number of candidates are not available for filling the quota of seats reserved for SCs and STs they may be filled up by candidates from the general pool on the basis of merit.

For filling up the seats reserved for backward class groups the guidelines provided in relevant and latest G.O. will be followed.

Wherever applicable, a minimum of 33.33% of the available seats in each post-graduate course will be allotted to women candidates from each category i.e., open competition, ST/SC/BC. This rule is not applicable

(i) If women candidates selected on merit in each category are 33.33% or more of the seats therein

(ii) For seats under various supernumerary categories. In the absence of suitable women candidates in the respective categories, these seats shall be filled in with men candidates of the same category.

Admissions under ST, SC and BC categories will be made as per the Telangana. Govt. rules and regulations in force at the time of admission.
