VIT Master’s Entrance Examination is a university level entrance examination. VITMEE 2019 will be organized by the VIT University. Candidates can get admission into PG programmes of M.Tech and MCA offered by the Chennai and Vellore campus of the university.VITMEE is VIT Master’s Entrance Exam held each year. VITMEE 2019 is expected to be conducted in the month of June 2019. Thus, candidates who want to take admission in M.Tech Programmes in VIT must know every detail about VITMEE 2019. VIT conducts this examination for M.Tech admissions in 7 schools of VIT. Even the GATE qualified candidates need to appear in VITMEE 2019 to get a seat. VITMEE 2019 will be held at various test centers in online mode only. To know more details keep reading below.

VITMEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

VITMEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates need to fulfill multiple eligibility criteria to apply for admissions through VITMEE. The minimum eligibility criteria for MTech programme admissions through this entrance exam are as follows:

Should have graduated (with a full-time degree) from any recognised University with minimum aggregate of 60% for MCA admissions and 50% marks for MTech degree programme admissions.
Candidates who are to appear in their final degree exam/ final semester examination in the current year can also apply for VITMEE 2018.
Candidates would be eligible for admissions only if they have completed their final Semester or final year examinations before the selection interview is conducted at VIT University.

Note: If any candidate is not able to fulfill this eligibility criterion for VITMEE 2018, his/her admission will stand cancelled.

Academic Qualification

Candidates need to possess minimum academic qualification in order to meet the eligibility criteria for VITMEE. Each post-graduation course offered at VIT University requires candidates to have academic qualifications as mentioned below:

Automotive Engineering Run in collaboration with Automotive Research Association of India, (ARAI), Pune.	BE/BTech Degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Manufacturing Engineering or Mechatronics or any equivalent degree.
Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing	BE/BTech Degree in Mechanical / Automobile or Production Engineering or any equivalent degree.
Energy and Environmental Engineering	BE/BTech Degree in any branch of Engineering & Technology / Biotechnology /Biochemical / MSc Environmental Science / Physics /Chemistry / Applied Sciences or any equivalent degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Higher Secondary level.
Mechatronics	BE/BTech Degree in Mechanical / Automobile or Production / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Computer Science/ Information Technology / Mechatronics or any equivalent degree.
Manufacturing Engineering	BE/BTech Degree in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Automobile Engg. or any equivalent degree.
Structural Engineering	BE/BTech Degree in Civil Engineering / Civil & Structural Engineering or any equivalent degree.
Information Technology (Networking)	BE/BTech in any branch /MS / MSc Computer Science (or) Information Technology (or) Software Engineering /MCA (or) Any other equivalent degree with valid GATE Score in Computer Science.
