Patna University Law Entrance Examination

Patna Law College was established in July 1909. Prior to the establishment of this Institution. The teaching of Law used to be imparted in Patna College. Till 1917 the College was affiliated to Calcutta University. When Patna University come into existence in 1917, it became affiliated to it. Upto 1st January, 1952, Patna Law College was a Government institution and functioned as an independent unit. From that date it became a consitiuent college of Patna University under the Patna University Act. 1951.

The university shall conducted Entrance Test for admission into LL.M ( Two years Master Degree course ), herein after called MLET, for the session 2015-16.

The admission shall be made strictly according to merit list prepared on the basis of said Entrance Test, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements mentioned below and the general laws of the university concerning admission.The Admission is purely based on Entrance Test .About Patna university Law Entrance Examination complete Details are shown in below .

For LLB Course :

The Prospectus including the Application Form may be obtained from the Patna Law College, Patna through a Bank Chalan of

Application Fee:

Rs. 400/- ( including the Entrance Test Fee) for General and OBC Candidates.

For SC / ST candidates, a Bank Chalan of Rs. 300/- is required to obtain the Application Form and Prospectus ( including the Entrance Test Fee ).

Form and Prospectus for Entrance Test can also be downloaded from the college website: www.patnalawcollege.ac.in.

The candidates who obtains Form and Prospectus through College website has to attach Bank Chalan / Bank draft / Bankers cheque of Rs. 400/- ( in case of General candidate and OBC ) Rs. 300/- ( in case of SC / ST candidates ).

The duly filled up Application Form along with Bank Draft, attested copies of all Mark sheet / Certificate ( Including Matric ) & Caste Certificate, PH certificate ( if required ) be sent to the Principal,

The filled up Application Form should reach in the office of Principal on or before the last date of submission of Form.

List of documents to be enclosed with Application Form in the following order:

A Candidate is required to arrange the Application and Enclosures thereto, in the following order:

(i)Duly filled Application Form

(ii)Attested copies of all mark sheets and certificates. ( Including Matric Examination )

(iii) Bank Chalan / Bank draft of Rs. 400 ( for General Category Candidates and OBC ) & Rs. 300 ( for SC / ST). Candidates are required to mention their name and Application form number on the back of Bank Draft.

(iv) Caste certificate in case of reserved category candidate and Physically Handicapped Certificate if required.

(v)The Caste certificate issued by SDO / DM will be considered only.

Staple the Application Form with all enclosures very securely at the upper left corner keeping the order of documents enclosed as per the directions given above (A (i) to (v). Keep all documents in the enclosed envelop and send by Registered post/speed post to the Principal,Patna Law College, Ranight, P.O. : Mahendru, Patna- 800006.
