Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law ( RGNUL )

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Entrance Examination is popularly known as RGNUL 2014 Entrance examination. This university is located at Patiala offering BA LLB, LLM Phil and PhD programs to the students by conducting common law admission test ( CLAT ) for taking admission into its LLB and LLM courses. This law entrance examination is very competitive entrance examination conducted by the University for Taking Admission in various law Programmes offered by the university.

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law ( RGNUL ), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 ( Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006 ). The Act incorporated a University of Law of national stature in Punjab, thereby fulfilling the need for a Centre of Excellence in legal education in the modern era of globalization and liberalization. RGNUL started functioning from its Headquarters - Mohindra Kothi, The Mall, Patiala w.e.f. 26 May 2006. The University acquired approval of the Bar Council of India ( BCI ) in July 2006. The University also got registered with the University Grants Commission ( UGC ), New Delhi under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and has been declared fit to obtain grant from the ( UGC ) under Section 12-B of the UGC Act, 1956.

Admissions of Foreign National Category 2014

1) This is to inform the students who wish to apply to RGNUL under the category of Foreign National for the B.A. LL.B (Hons) Five Year Course and LL.M ( One Year Course ), that they must apply for the same in form of an application addressed to the Registrar, RGNUL along with the draft of Rs 1500/- on or before 07th June 2014

Date of Counselling at RGNUL – 30th June 2014 to 03rd July 2014

Foreign National Category should report to RGNUL, Sidhuwal Campus on 25th June, 2014 at 10.00 am sharp for their Counselling

2) The Candidates are required to bring the following documents in Original at the time of Counselling:

i) 10th Pass Certificate / with Date of Birth

ii) 12th Pass Certificate with detail marks

iii) Migration Certificate from School / Board / University last attended

iv) Character Certificate from Educational Institution last attended

v) Equivalence Certificate in case of candidates who have foreign degrees

vi) If gap year-declaration to the effect that student has not taken admission during the period in any Institution / University

vii) Four Photographs ( Passport size )

viii) Two set of attested copies of the above

3) Fee to be paid in US dollars or equivalent in INR

i) Tuition and Allied Fee: US %6000

ii) Advance Mess Charge: INR Rs.15000/-

4) Mode of Payment:

The fee is payable by two separate Demand Drafts for Fee and Mess Charges separately in favour of Registrar, RGNUL, Punjab payable at Patiala or Cash deposited at State Bank of India, RGNUL Branch, Sidhuwal Campus

For Jammu and Kashmir Resident Category and Kashmir Migrants Category

1) This is to inform the candidates of CLAT 2014 who visit to apply to RGNUL for Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses under the J&K Resident Category and Kashmiri Migrants Category should report to RGNUL, Sidhuwal Campus on 01st July 2014 at 10.00 am sharp for their Counselling

2) The Candidates are required to bring the following documents in Original at the time of Counselling:
