The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, IIFT, is one of the most prestigious B-Schools in India. IIFT organizes its own written test for admissions, which is known as IIFT Entrance examination for the admission in its two campuses, in New Delhi and Kolkata. IIFT Entrance Test takes place usually in the month of November every year. IIFT is a paper pencil based test of two hours duration. It covers the sections of Verbal Ability, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.

Reservation of seats:

Seats are reserved as per Government of India rules. The reservations are subject to candidates meeting the admission requirement of the Institute under different categories.

For Foreign Nationals / NRI / Children of NRIs:

Seats are reserved for Foreign Nationals, NRIs and Children of NRIs and the admission is considered on the basis of General Management Aptitude Test ( GMAT ) score of which should not have been declared before 1st January 2013 and should be received by the Institute latest by 31st March 2015

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview.

Admit Card :

The Admit Cards will be sent BY POST to all the applicants, who submit filled-in Application Forms complete in all respects ( online or offline ), in the first week of November 2014. Applicants, who do not receive their Admit Cards by 12th November 2014, can download their Admit Cards from IIFT's website.

With a print-out of their Admit Cards, the candidates should reach the venue of the Exam Centre on 23rd November 2014 latest by 9.00 a.m. with one of the following documents:

(a) Passport,

(b) Election I-Card,

(d) Driving License, or

(e) PAN Card for appearing in the Exam.
