Indian Institute of Management Indore ( IIMIDR ) MBA Admission Selection Procedure -2015

Admissions are based on the CAT / GMAT 2014 score followed by Written Aptitude Test ( WAT ) and Personal Interview ( PI ) and final selection.

The merit list generated based on Composite Score ( CS ) which will be prepared using 10th Standard / SSC Score, 12th Standard / HSC Score, CAT / GMAT 2014, Bachelor Degree Overall Score.

For Post Graduate Program in Management ( PGP ):

Selection Process:

 IIM Indore will adopt a three-stage selection process

Eligibility Criteria:

All applicants who apply for two-year PGP at IIM Indore must satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned in CAT 2014 advertisement and also the following minimum sectional percentile and overall percentile scores in CAT 2014.

Those applicants meeting the above criteria will only be considered for the selection process.

Shortlist for WAT and PI

The candidates satisfying the above requirements mentioned will only be considered for this stage of Shortlisting for WAT and PI.

Sufficient number of candidates for WAT and PI for each category ( General, NC-OBC, SC, ST and DA ) will be shortlisted using the merit list generated based on Composite Score ( CS ) as mentioned.

Candidates short-listed for WAT and PI will be intimated in the month of January 2015. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted for WAT and PI.

Candidates shortlisted for WAT and PI must have to attend both WAT and PI, otherwise they will be not be considered for the next stage of selection process.

IIM Indore also expects a consistent and minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Interview ( PI ), which will be decided by Admissions Committee.

Candidates not meeting the minimum performance in any of PI parameters will not be considered for the next stage of selection process.

Final Selection:

The candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned above will only be considered for the final selection.

Category wise merit list will be generated based on Final Composite Score ( CS ) as mentioned and provisional admission offers will be made accordingly adhering to the reservation norms.

For Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management ( EPGP ):

Interview of short listed candidates will be conducted at various locations depending on the number of candidates from that region.

Short-listing of candidates for interview will be done based on a number of criteria like CAT / GMAT score, Academic performance, and work experience etc or as decided by the admissions committee.

After the interviews are conducted, all short listed candidates will be sent admission offers which can only be deemed accepted by the candidate if the institute receives an acceptance letter along with a payment of non-refundable commitment fee of Rs 100000/- ( Rs One Lakh only ) within the stipulated time period mentioned in the offer.

Service tax, if applicable, shall be charged in addition. All the selected candidates have to register for the programme by May 04, 2015.
