NUIM Entrance Exam is conducted for the aspirants, who desire to pursue their career in business administration and entrepreneurship. The test is conducted for postgraduate and doctorate level program that are offered by Nirma University Institute of Management. NUIM came into existence in 1996. Currently, the institute is a part of Nirma University of Science and Technology. NUIM offers various programs in the field of management at multiple levels.

Nirma University Institute of Management MBA Entrance Examination Selection Procedure – 2015:

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in different components of Common Admission Test will be called for Personal Interview and a Written Test ( to test the written communication skill ).

The candidates will be finally selected for admission based on the candidates' performance in the following Criteria,

CAT-2014

Personal Interview

Written Communication Test

Academic Performance in X & XII

Academic Performance in Graduation and work experience

The following weight age will be assigned for each component of the selection criteria and composite scores will be computed based on the selection criteria.

Common Admission Test- CAT: 60%

Personal Interview- PI: 20%

Written Communication Test- WCT: 10%

Academic Performance: 10%

An additional score up to 5 points will also be given for full-time relevant work experience in a professional organization.

While computing the score of the Academic Performance, the marks obtained in SSC, HSC and Graduation shall be taken into account with 15% weight age for SSC marks, 25% weight age for HSC marks, 40% weight age for graduation marks.

Only the aggregate marks obtained in the examinations up to pre-final year will be considered for computing the merit.
