Open Management Admission Test ( OPENMAT )

Open Management Admission Test ( OPENMAT ) is a common entrance test conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) for admission to its Management Programmes. OPENMAT examination is held twice a year usually in the month of February and August. Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) under its School of Management Studies (SOMS ) every year holds an all-India entrance test ( OPENMAT ) for admission into its various distance-learning management programmes. In terms of the spread and enrolment, the IGNOU Management Programme is one of the leading Management Programmes in the world.

For OPENMAT - XXXVII Entrance Test:

The OPENMAT is a single level examination which is of 3 hours duration. The exam paper consists of 200 questions in total.

The question paper is divided in 4 sections namely

2	English Language	50
3	Quantitative Aptitude	50
4	Reasoning	70

Every correct answer: 1 mark

Negative marking: NIL

Exam in test booklet format with 200 multiple choice questions and a specifically designed OMR response sheet.

In case they find that none of the four alternatives is correct, they have to mark 'O'

Note:

The cut-off mark for OPOENMAT is decided by IGNOU. However, the minimum marks required to get admission to the management programmes offered by IGNOU, the student has to score at least 60% - 70%.
