Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test ( LUCSAT )

LUCSAT stands for Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test. The test is conducted by the Department of Computer Science of Lucknow University, in order to enroll candidates, who want to pursue their career in this field, at the postgraduate level. The admissions are done through counselling.

The existing reservation rules of the university are followed while doing admissions. Lucknow University was incepted in 1920, to cater to the educational needs. The university is recognized by University Grant Commission ( UGC ). The support from Sir Harcourt Butler's Government was strong and hearty. Since then the Government of the United Provinces has annually contributed a substantial share towards the maintenance of the University.

LUCSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test ( LUCSAT ) for MCA Entrance Exam of Eligibility criteria – 2015 :

B.Sc. ( Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology ) or B.C.A./ B.E / B.Tech. ( CSE / IT ) of minimum three year duration with a minimum of 50% marks for Gen / OBC and 45% marks for SC / ST and Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer application as one of the subject at Intermediate / Higher Secondary ( i.e. 10+2 ) level.

Students of BCA final semester of Lucknow University or affiliated college of Lucknow University can apply if candidate passed ( without any back paper ) in all semester and having 50% marks ( aggregate ) up-to 5th semester for GEN / OBC and 45% marks SC / ST respectively.

Similarly, Students of B.Sc. ( Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology ) final year, Lucknow University or affiliated college of Lucknow University can apply if candidate passed ( without any back paper ) in Ist year and IInd year having 50% marks ( aggregate ) in both years for GEN / OBC and 45% marks SC / ST respectively.

Educational qualification:

The candidates must possess a degree in Bachelor's of Science, ( Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology or B.C.A / B.E / B.Tech ) with minimum 50 per cent for general / OBC and 45 per cent for SC / ST.
