Banaras Hindu University ( BHU ) Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination Selection Procedure – 2015

For MD / MS / MDS Course:

There is no separate entrance examination. Candidates who have appeared and qualified AIPGMEE-2015 are eligible for admission based on their rank

Roll number of only selected candidates will be published and displayed on the websites -  www.bhu.ac.in and www.imsbhu.nic.in and they will also be informed individually by Registered post by the Institute. The Institute shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss of the correspondence in postal transit.

Selected candidates will have to appear before the admission committee for counselling. The date and time of counselling will be notified to the selected candidates along with letter of selection. The candidates will be selected in order of merit on the basis of the marks secured at the Admission Test.

In case of equal marks at the test the inter-se ranking ( between or amongst ) of the candidates shall be determined in the following order.

In case of equal marks the merit shall be decided on the basis of the aggregate of all the Professional Examinations of MBBS. Hence, candidates should clearly and correctly fill up the marks obtained and the total marks of all the professional MBBS Examinations in item 14 of the application form ( to be verified at the time of counseling ). Otherwise any claim for correctness of inter-se merit shall not be entertained.

If the marks mentioned in the above line also happen to be the same, the date of birth would be the basis i.e. the candidate senior in the age would rank higher.
