National Eligibility and Entrance Test

The Ministry of Human Resource development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard test in order to access the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions

As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act -1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 and as amended from time to time, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) 2019 (NEET (UG) - 2019) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Indian Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Pondicherry. Intermediate graduates (10+2) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks can apply online at nta.ac.in. The exam will be conducted through pen paper based mode. Here we are providing details about NEET 2019 exam including application form correction, exam date, admit card, exam pattern, syllabus, etc.

Applications Process NEET 2019:

Applications for the NEET 2019 exam can be submitted only through the online mode at the official website of NTA. There is no other mode of application submission. The application submission process will begin on 1st November 2018 and will continue till 7^th December 2018.

To Apply :

Follow the steps provided below to apply for the exam before the last date of the exam:

Go to the official website of NTA NEET (http://nta.ac.in)
On the homepage, select ‘NTA exams’ link
You will get 5 options (Engineering, Medical, Management, Pharmacy and College/University Teaching & Fellowship)
Choose the 'National Eligibility cum Entrance Test' link
Scroll down and click on 'New User Registration Here!'
Enter all the information asked for in the given fields like name, father’s name, address, educational qualification etc. and submit the information
A system-generated Registration Number will appear, note it down as it will be used for future login to complete the application process, edit the information, download admit card and view result
Log-in again with the registration number and password sent to your registered email address
Complete the application form and use the ‘Next and Preview’ option to check if all the information is correct before final submission. You can click on the reset button to fill in the details again
After reviewing the application form, click the Submit button
Upload the scanned images of signature and photographs (in the pre-specified format)
After this, you will be moved to the next part of the application process. Select from the mode of payment and pay the application fee.
After successful payment of the fee, a confirmation page will appear. Take at least two print-outs of that confirmation page for future use.
