Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences ( NTRUHS ) Medical Entrance Examination

The vision of the late legendary, Padmashree Dr N T Rama Rao, erstwhile Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, became a reality when 'The Andhra Pradesh University of Health Sciences, first of its kind, was established in 1986 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, with Vijayawada as Headquarters. It is a state wide University with the aim of ensuring efficient and systematic education, training and research in allopathic and Indian systems of medicine, Dentistry and Nursing. Dr. NTRUHS offers PG Medical courses ( MD / MS / Diploma ) and MDS Degree / Diploma Courses through conducting PG Medical / MDS Entrance Examination for the year 2015. The detailed Dr. NTRHUS – 2015 PG Medical and MDS Entrance Examination is as follows.

For MD / MS / MDS

For PG Medical and Diploma Courses:

MBBS Degree should be recognized by the Medical Council of India. The candidates should have completed / should be completing Compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31-03-2015.

No request for condonation of compulsory rotatory internship shall be accepted. In case of Service candidates, service rendered shall be calculated as on 31-03-2015.

Must have registered with Medical Council and subject to the fulfillment of the conditions stipulated in Regulations and its documentary proof should be furnished / enclosed to the application.

Candidates who are already studying P.G. Degree or Diploma course shall not be permitted to appear for Entrance Test unless they discontinue the course by remitting the requisite bond amount and stipend drawn up to the date of submitting the application form.

Such candidates shall have to submit a certificate issued by the Head of the Institution to that effect along with the application form in the proforma.

MDS

The applicant for admission to the M.D.S courses must have a B.D.S. Degree ( Bachelor of Dental Surgery ) of a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India.

The BDS degree must have been registered in Dental Council of India / Any State Dental Council.

Internship shall be completed by 31-03-2015.

NOTE:

The students who are already admitted and studying MDS course are not eligible to appear for MDS Entrance test until they complete the course or discontinue the course by remitting the bond amount and stipend taken upto the date before submitting the application and such candidates shall enclose the discontinuance certificate issued by the Principal to that effect along with the application form in the proforma appended to the application form.

Candidates who satisfy the local or Non-local status as per G.O.P.No.646 Education (W) Department, Dated 10-7-1979 only are eligible to appear for MDS Entrance Test. The Procedure indicated in the above G.O for selection of candidates as amended in G.O.Ms.No. 42,Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated 18-05-2009 and G.O.Ms. No.89 HM&FW(E1) department, dated 21.05.2014 shall be followed.

Candidate with BDS degree from outside the State of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana must pay certificate verification / equivalency verification fee as specified in the regulations along with registration fee.

The verification fee and registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to further Entrance Examination. Therefore candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying MDS Entrance Examination.
