Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences ( NTRUHS ) Medical Entrance Examination

The vision of the late legendary, Padmashree Dr N T Rama Rao, erstwhile Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, became a reality when 'The Andhra Pradesh University of Health Sciences, first of its kind, was established in 1986 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, with Vijayawada as Headquarters. It is a state wide University with the aim of ensuring efficient and systematic education, training and research in allopathic and Indian systems of medicine, Dentistry and Nursing. Dr. NTRUHS offers PG Medical courses ( MD / MS / Diploma ) and MDS Degree / Diploma Courses through conducting PG Medical / MDS Entrance Examination for the year 2015. Computer Based ( Online ) Entrance Test will be conducted for admission into the PG Medical / Dental - Degree / Diploma courses if any permitted.

Question paper is of MCQ pattern. Some questions will have images. Candidate has to choose single most appropriate answer from four options provided.

Each correct response shall be awarded one mark.

There is no negative mark for incorrect response.

No mark will be given for the question not answered.

Minimum marks required to qualify in the entrance test shall be 50% for OC Candidates, 40% for SC, ST & BC and 45% for differently abled candidates.

As per Regulations the candidates who secure minimum of 50% marks ( for SC / ST / BC candidates 40% marks and 45% for differently abled candidates ) in the computer based ( Online ) Entrance Test are only eligible for admission.

Admission will be only for candidates who qualify in Dr. NTRUHS MDS ET - 2015 and NTRUHS PGMET - 2015.
