Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, ( RGUHS ), established by an Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Act of 1994, passed by Karnataka Legislature is dedicated to the motto of “Right for Rightful Health Science Education”. It is affiliating, teaching and a research University, headquartered in Bangalore. RGUHS is member of Commonwealth University, London, UK, Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and Inter Universities Boards, Karnataka. About 680 colleges conducting professional courses in Medicine, Dentistry, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy ) , Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Sciences in Karnataka are affiliated to the University.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences ( RGUHS ) Medical Entrance Examination PG Application Procedure – 2014

Date of Entrance Test – 15/06/2014

Examination Fee: Rs. 5,000/- ( Rupees Five Thousand only )

Important:

Please note that the candidate will not become eligible for attending the entrance test only by ONLINE REGISTRATION. The candidate must ensure that print out of his / her application with all enclosures mentioned in the brochure reaches the RGUHS on or before 07/06/2014, 5.00 PM by Post or In- person.

RGUHS is not responsible for any postal delay. The print-out of the applications received after 07/06/2014 will be strictly rejected.

(a) Guidelines to fill the online application form:

Note:

Since the Applicant should upload their photographs in online application entry, the applicant should scan their passport size photograph ( SNAPPED AFTER 01 / 04 / 2014 WITH NAME & DATE ) in .jpg format and make available for uploading with the following specifications. Width = 1.3 inches, Height = 1.6 inches, Resolution = 200 X 200 dpi and the file size should be less than 100kb.

(b) How to submit:

i) In person:

Print out Application filled online in all respects along with attested copies of all required certificates may be submitted for registration, in person, at RGUHS, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560 041 before 5-00 P.M on 07/06/2014.

ii) By Post:

Print out of Application filled online in all respects along with attested copies of all required certificates may be sent by post for registration to RGUHS, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560 041 should reach before 5-00 P.M on 07/06/2014. Candidates should super scribe on the cover as “Application for PGSSET - 2014”.

The candidates have to download the Hall Ticket for the Entrance Test from the RGUHS website from 13/06/2014.

Mode of Payment:-

The prescribed registration fee should be remitted through payment gateway by using Debit or Credit Cards ( Master or Visa ).

Candidates are hereby informed that payment SHOULD NOT be made through Demand Draft or any other mode of payment other than what is mentioned above.

Note: Registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances

Certificates to Be Enclosed:

The candidate has to submit the attested photo copies of following documents duly attested by an Gazetted Officer along with the filled application form.

• 10th Marks card / Birth Certificate for proof of age.

• Attempt Certificate of PG Degree issued by the Principal.

• Permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate including PG.

• UG Degree Certificate.

• Marks cards and Degree certificate of Post Graduation.

• Probationary Period declaration certificate ( Applicable to Karnataka Govt. In-service candidates ).
