Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research ( SDUAHER ) has started to provide need based infrastructure and facilities to students to become responsible professionals with social commitment and accountability. ERA is an initiative of Educational Assessment and Rating Foundation. ERA conducts Uni-GAUGE- Under Graduate Engineering, Medical and Dental 2015 ( Uni- GAUGE EMeD - 2015 ).SDUAHER is a member institution under ERA Foundation. For Admission to Under Graduate MBBS Course for the Academic Year 2015-16 at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College the applicants have to appear for the Uni-GAUGE EMeD - 2015 examination conducted by the ERA Foundation. The complete SDUAHER Uni-GAUGE EMeD - 2015 Medical Entrance Examination will be described as follows.

For UG MBBS Course

The candidates should have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology ( PCB ) with English as a compulsory subject.

The General Merit candidates must have passed these subjects ( PCB ) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB ( 40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of the respective State ).

The General Merit Candidate Must also secure not less than 50% marks ( 40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of respective state) in aggregate in PCB subjects in the Uni-GAUGE EMeD - 2015

The candidates who are appearing for the prescribed qualifying examination and expecting the percentage of marks as at (b) are also eligible to apply.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2015 i.e. the candidate should be born on or before 31st Dec 1998

The following candidates are not eligible for participating in Uni-GAUGE EMeD - 2015 and hence need not apply:

A. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination i.e. second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent prior to 2013.

B. Candidates already pursuing Medical UG course anywhere in India.

C. Candidates who were caught attempting to impersonate or found following / adopting any of the malpractices earlier including entertaining the touts and agents.
