Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, established in the year 1993, under the aegis of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, as a modern super specialty hospital, was granted the status of a university in the year 1995 by an act of A.P. State legislature vide act no.12 of 1995. Applications are invited through online from the eligible candidates of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana for admission into the Broad specialties in Post Graduate Disciplines such as, Anaesthesiology-08, Biochemistry- 01 , Emergency Medicine – 02, IHBT-01, Medicine-04, Miocrobiology-01, Nuclear Medicine- 02, Pathology-02, Radio-diagnosis-02 and Radiotherapy-02. SVIMS have to select the candidates based on their performance in Post Graduate Entrance Examination ( PGET ) which conducted by SVIMS. Applying Candidates are requested to apply on or before the last date.

Applying Candidate must fulfil the Eligibility Criteria set by the SVIMS. The eligibility criteria vary course by course. So, view the complete SVIMS Entrance Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria below:
M.Sc (Nursing)

Applying Candidate should have completed the B.Sc. nursing/ B.Sc. Hons. nursing/ post basic B.Sc. nursing with the minimum of 55% aggregate marks recognized by INC.
Also, the candidate should possess minimum one year of work experience.

MPT

Applying Candidate should have completed the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institute and completed the internship.

M.Sc. (Medical)-Anatomy & Physiology

The candidate has completed the B.Sc. with life sciences with Chemistry, Zoology as one of the optional subjects or MLT or BPT.

M.Sc. (Medical)-Biochemistry & Microbiology

The Candidate has completed the B.Sc. with life sciences with Chemistry, Zoology as one of the optional subjects or B.Sc. with MLT.

M.Sc.Biotechnology

Applying Student has completed the B.Sc with Biotechnology, Bio-informatics, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry as one of the optional subjects or B. Pharm/ B. Tech. in Biotechnology or Bio-informatics.

M.Sc.Bioinformatics

Applying Candidate should have completed the B.Sc with Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry as one of the optional subjects or B.Pharm/ B.Tech in Biotechnology or Bioinformatics, B.Sc Physics or Chemistry with computer science as one of the optional subject.
