Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam acronym as UP PGMEE is conducted by reputed M.L.N. Medical College - Allahabad, each year for admission to various post graduate medical courses like M.D.S. and M.D. / M.S. / PG Diploma courses in various post graduate medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

The candidates clearing the entrance examination are also eligible for admission to the Medical Colleges of Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Meerut and in Medical / Dental faculty of CSM Medical University, Lucknow. There are a total of 603 seats combined in all the institutes for all the post graduate medical courses in addition to 12 seats for MDS at CSM Medical University, Lucknow. Applicatiosn are invited from the eligible candidates for the academic year-2015.

U.P. Postgraduate Medical Entrance Examination ( UPPGMEE ) Reservation of Seats- 2015:

For M.D. / M.S. / M.D.S. / Postgraduate Diploma

Distribution of MD / MS / Diploma seats in 50% AIPGEE Quota and 50% State Quota.

Total available AIQ ( All India Quota ) seats are 340

Total seats available for State quota will be 411 ( 351+60* ) Only State quota seats are available for UPPGMEE- 2015.

In compliance to the Govt. Order No.3878/71-2-14-103/2011 dated 3rd December 2014, 30% seats ( 51 ) of Postgraduate degree courses in State Medical Colleges, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Meerut, Agra have been reserved for in-service doctors of PMHS Cadre selected through UPPGMEE- 2015.

( P ) denotes permitted seats.

The number of seats in the medical colleges and allotment on these seats may change.

Category- wise distribution of seats will be as per U.P. Public Service Scheduled caste, Scheduled tribes and other Backward Class Reservation amendment Ordinance, 2002 OR as per the prevailing U.P. Govt. Orders at the time of counseling.

3% horizontal compartmentalized reservation is available for physically handicapped category candidates as per norms laid down by the Medical Council Of India for the same.

The identification of these seats shall be as per G.O. no. 3854/71-3-06/2006 dated 29-9-2006 & dated 3-11-2006.
