Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam ( UPPGMEE )

Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam acronym as UP PGMEE is conducted by reputed M.L.N. Medical College - Allahabad, each year for admission to various post graduate medical courses like M.D.S. and M.D. / M.S. / PG Diploma courses in various post graduate medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

The candidates clearing the entrance examination are also eligible for admission to the Medical Colleges of Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Meerut and in Medical / Dental faculty of CSM Medical University, Lucknow. There are a total of 603 seats combined in all the institutes for all the post graduate medical courses in addition to 12 seats for MDS at CSM Medical University, Lucknow. Applicatiosn are invited from the eligible candidates for the academic year-2015.

U.P. Postgraduate Medical Entrance Examination ( UPPGMEE ) Admission Procedure- 2015:

For M.D. / M.S. / M.D.S. / Postgraduate Diploma

Admission of the candidate to various P.G. Degree / Diploma course will be given by the Principal / Dean / Director of the respective Medical College / Institute or Medical / Dental faculty of K.G. Medical University, Lucknow as the case may be.

A candidate who has been allotted a P.G. Degree / Diploma course in a particular Medical / Dental College shall have to complete all the admission formalities including depositing the prescribed fees, by the date notified for this purpose by the respective Principal / Dean / Director of Medical College / Institute or K.G. Medical University, Lucknow as the case may be. Those who fail to do so will lose their claim for admission.

Admission shall be given only after the candidate produces, in original and one photocopy each of the following documents at the office of the Principal / Dean / Director of the Medical College / Institute concerned or the Registrar, KG Medical University, Lucknow, as the case may be

a. High School Certificate as proof of date of birth.

b. Mark sheets of all professional examinations.

c. MBBS / BDS passing out certificate or degree.

d. Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion certificate.

e. Permanent Registration Certificate ( U.P. State / MCI / DCI ).

f. Employers relieving certificate, if employed.

g. S.C. / S.T. / O.B.C. / Physically handicapped certificate, if applicable.

h. Allotment letter, issued by Chairman of the Counseling Board of UPPGMEE- 2015.

i. Admit Card of UPPGMEE- 2015.

j. Identification certificate mentioned in the application form.

k. Verification sheet of the Principal/Dean of the College / University concerned.

l. Candidates who have passed MBBS from Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun are required to submit a domicile certificate of U.P. on the prescribed proforma only and a certificate from the Director General Medical Education / Medical Health Services of Uttarakhand of being admitted in the year 2000 only.

Bond: The undertaking / bond is to ensure that in case the student leaves the seat after the 2nd / final counseling, or at any time during the course of study, leading to a loss of the seat, then the student will deposit an amount of Rs 5,00,000/-. Failure to comply with terms of the bond will automatically debar the candidate from all future PG entrance examinations conducted by the DGME Uttar Pradesh.

Submission of the bond. After the admission process is completed the candidate will submit in writing his / her joining report to the Head of the Department concerned.
