National Entrance Screening Test ( NEST ) Entrance Examination

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) has announced the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2017 for the academic year 2017. Candidates who are interested in seeking admission in M.Sc integrated the can apply application. Candidates who are interested are suggested to check eligibility before applying. NEST 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria:

Age limit:

  1. General / OBC Candidates who born on or after 1 August 1997 are eligible to apply for NEST 2017.
  2. SC / ST / PWD candidates are given 5 years of age relaxation.

Educational qualification:

  1. Candidates must have completed class 12th or equivalent exam with any combination of Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Biology subjects.
  2. Candidates should have completed their class 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 are eligible to apply.
  3. Aspirants who have passed class 12th or equivalent exam before 2015 are not eligible to apply.
  4. Candidates who are pursuing their final class 12th exam or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply.
  5. To seek admission in M.Sc programme, general / OBC candidates should have obtained minimum 60% and SC / ST / PWD candidates must have scored minimum 55% marks in class 12th.
