Eligibility Criteria for Galgotias University Uttar Pradesh PhD Entrance Examination-2015

Galgotias University, Uttar Pradesh invites applications to the Admission of PhD Programs for the year 2015. Admissions are based on the GATE / SLET / UGC / CSIR ( JRF ) examinations or M.Phil

Also admission will be based on PhD Entrance Test to be conducted by Galgotias University for all those who are not qualified in any of the examinations followed by Personal Interview.

All candidates seeking admission to the PhD program shall have to possess requisite marks / grades in qualifying examination as indicated below:

Masters degree in Engineering / Technology / Science / Business Administration with a first class or a minimum 60 % marks ( CGPA 6.5 on a 10 point scale ) or equivalent such as M.Sc. ( Engineering ) / M.S. by research

Masters degrees with a minimum 60 % in Humanities / Social Sciences / Language / other Non-engineering programmes are also eligible.
