Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development ( RGNIYD ) PhD Entrance Examination

The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development ( RGNIYD ), Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, is an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament No. 35/2012 under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. As the apex national agency for youth development, the Institute strives to develop into a globally recognized and acclaimed centre of academic excellence in the field of youth development, fully responsive to the national agenda for inclusive growth, and the needs and aspirations of young people of the country to realise their potentials to create a just society. RGNIYD invites applications for admission to the full time Ph.D programmes in the areas of Gender Studies, Local Governance, Life Skills Education and Development Studies. Selection Procedure is based on the performance in the Entrance Test and Personal Interview conducted by the Institute.

The duly filled in application form with all the requisite enclosures should be submitted along with the demand draft for Rs.500/- towards application fees. Demand Draft must be drawn on a nationalised bank in favour of The Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, payable at Sriperumbudur.

The candidate must enclose the attested copies of the following documents along with the duly filled in application form.

Original documents should be produced only at the time of interview.
