Application Procedure for The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University ( TNDALU ) Ph.D. Entrance Examination-2015:

For Ph.D in Law / Inter-Disciplinary Field:

Admission for Ph.D research programme will normally commence in the month of July every year, eligible candidates may download the application from the University web-site from 05-01-2015.

The filled in application form along with the necessary documents and Demand Draft for Rs.1, 000/- ( Rupees One thousand only ) drawn in favor of,

The Registrar,

The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University,

Chennai. Payable at Chennai should reach the address given below on or before 27-01-2015.

The duly filled in form shall be submitted along with the following documents,

• An outline of the Research Proposal intended for the thesis, in about 2000 words with a tentative chapterisation ( to be produced at the time of Interview ).
• Attested Xerox copy of the Master’s Degree in Law along with Mark Statements
• Attested Xerox copy of Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Master’s Degree or M.Phil in the concerned inter-disciplinary subject along with the Mark Statements
• Attested Xerox copy of the UGC-JRF qualified certificate.
• In case of part-time Ph.D for teachers, other employers and Judges, service certificate from the institution concerned, testifying the length of service to be enclosed. In case of advocates a certificate of Bar experience from the concerned Bar Association need to be enclosed.
• In the case of part-time research, No Objection Certificate from the Head the Department / Institution, where he / she is employed.
• A Declaration by the candidate to the effect that the candidate is not pursuing Ph.D   simultaneously either as full-time or part-time scholar in any University or Research Institute. In case if at any point of time, it is found that the candidate is pursuing a Doctoral programme contrary to the Declaration, the registration of such candidate automatically stands cancelled with immediate effect.
• If the Admission Committee finds a candidate suitable for pursuing Ph.D Degree programme, the candidate shall be allowed to provisionally register for the Ph.D programme on payment of registration fee.
• All the candidates should enclose the attested copy of the SSLC certificate as proof of age and date of Birth and Community Certificate
