Indo Tibetan Border Police

ITBPF was raised on 24 Oct,1962.Presently ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes raging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western, Middle and Eastern Sector of the Indo-China Border.

ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.

Details for the post of Deputy Judge Attorney General & Deputy Commandant:

ITBP invites applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment 11 posts of Deputy Judge Attorney General (Deputy Commandant) (Group-A, Gazetted Non Ministerial Combative Post) in the PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100/- plus Grade pay of Rs. 6600/-in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) (MHA) Govt. of India. On joining the organization, selected candidates will be governed by ITBPF Act 1992 and ITBPF Rules 1994 as amended from time to time and are liable to serve anywhere in Union of India or outside.

Age: 35 years

Qualification: Degree in Law and 5 years experience.
