Indo Tibetan Border Police

ITBPF was raised on 24 Oct,1962.Presently ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes raging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western, Middle and Eastern Sector of the Indo-China Border.

ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.

Indo Tibetan Border Police 2021 Deputy Judge Attorney General & Deputy Commandant Selection Process

Selection Process for the post of Deputy Judge Attorney General & Deputy Commandant:

The selection process will consist of following parts:

Part-I Physical Screening Test (PST)

(PST is qualifying in nature and no marks will be allotted for it)

Part-II: Written Examination:

Those who qualify in the preliminary physical measurement would be put through the written examination. The written examination will include objective & subjective type questions to test the professional competence and ability of candidates.

(a) Professional subject - 100marks (60% objective & 40% subjective)

(b) General Awareness/General Knowledge- 25 marks (objective type)

(d) General English -50 marks (25 objective & 25 subjective).

Part-III: Interview (Personality test) (25-Marks)

Those who qualify in the written examination would be required to appear before the Selection Board for interview on given date.

Part-IV: Detailed Medical Exam.

The venue of above exams will be at Delhi.
