District Educational Officer

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission board published the District Educational Officer Recruitment 2019.  Candidates can apply through online mode upto 09.01.2019 for direct recruitment to the post of District Educational Officer in School Education Department included in the Tamil Nadu School Educational Service. TNPSC has 18 (Current Vacancies), +2 (Carries Forward Vacancies) for District Educational Officer (DEO) Post and the exam is going to held on 02.03.2019.

DEO 2021 Selection Procedure

The selection will be made in three successive stages

(i) Preliminary Examination for selection of applicants for admission to the Main Examination,

(ii) Main Examination

(iii) Viva–Voce Test.

The candidates for admission to Main Examination will be shortlisted as decided by the Commission at a ratio not exceeding 50 times of the number of vacancies following the rule of reservation. However, in each reservation group, all the applicants, who secure the same marks as that of the cut off marks of their reservation groups shall also be admitted to the Main Written Examination, though the number of applicants to be admitted to the Main Written Examination may exceed 1:50 ratio.

Candidates for Viva Voce Test will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 with reference to the number of vacancies as specified in “Instructions to Applicants” under the heading “Procedure of Selection”.
