UPSC Special Class Railway Apprentices

UPSC is a recruitment examination conducted on a national level to select student for recruitment of Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) under Indian Railways. The examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on behalf of the Indian Railways every year which witnesses a turnout of more than a few lakh students. UPSC SCRA for the year 2017 is scheduled to be held in the month of July 2017. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

  1. Candidate should pass 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognised board.
  2. Applicant should also have studied either Physics or Chemistry at 10+2 level.
  3. Candidate must have secured first or second division in the qualifying examination.

Age:

Candidate should be between 17 to 21 years of age as on August 2017.
