We notice tiny water droplets, i.e., dew on leaves or metal surfaces like iron grills and gates on a cold morning.

People living in desert region do not get adequate amount of water due to a scarcity of water in that region.

The water in shallow ponds evaporates in summer. This process is fast in hot areas leading to shortage of water in the pond and sometimes no water in ponds leads to the death of aquatic animals like fish.

There is a need for conserving water because of the following reasons
(i) Increasing population is creating more demand for usable water.
(ii) Availability of freshwater is decreasing day-by-day.

Water kept under the shade of a tree also evaporates because moving air gets heated from sunlight. This warm air provides heat for evaporation of water kept in the shade.

When there is a lack of rain for a long period over an area Which causes dryness and non-availability of water to plants and animals, drought occurs.

The clouds are formed in the following steps
(i) The air moves higher from the surface of the Earth and gets cooler.
(ii) At sufficient heights, the air condenses to form tiny drops of water called water droplets. 
(iii) These tiny droplets remain floating in air which appear as clouds.

When we breathe out, the hot air comes out from our mouth which get condensed and changed into tiny water droplets and glasses become wet.

As the temperature outside the refrigerator is higher than the refrigerator. So, when the cooled bottle of water is kept on a table, water vapours gets condensed and as a result, puddle of water appears around the bottle.
