Dr Jain's family has four cars and they use all of them everyday creating lot of pollution whereas Mr. Lalit Jain despite having two cars, takes metro or other means of public transport to reach his place of work.

Mr. Grover owner of a dry cleaning shop, was using terachloromethane eralier as a solvent for dry-cleaning. The compound containers the ground water and is also suspected carcinogenic. Mr. Raj owner of another dry cleaning shop is using CO 2 these days.
Hydrogen peroxide is being used for bleaching purpose.

Water is essential for life and we cannot imagine our life without it. Municipal and Industrial discharge lead to water pollution. Organic wastes also create water pollution. Heavy metals from industries create lot of water pollution.
Immersion of a statues of during festivals, create lot of water pollution.
The residents of Chitranjan Park decided no to put Durga statue into Yamuna river like every year. This step was highly appreciated by Delhi Govternment, and the NGO 'Save Yamuna Project'.

(i) Motor vehicles, like cars, emit harmful gases like carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen and sulphur etc.
(ii) The level of carbon monoxide gas in the atmosphere can be reduced in following ways.
(a) By using CNG as a fuel.
(b) Using electric cars, bicycles.
(c) Use of public transports like metro instead of personal vehicles.
(d) Avoid burning of dry leaves, plastic bags, etc.
(iii) Mr. Lalit Jain is contributing positively to reduce air pollution by using metro. -
(i) Sonu became ill because of photochemical smog which caused iritation in his eyes and throat
(ii) Smog is formed when sunlight is absorbed by O3, oxides of nitrogen and hydrocarbons.
(iii) Formation of smog can be prevented by controlling the emission of oxides of nitrogen and sulphur.
(iv) Nilesh is helpful, intelligent and curious. -
(i) It will result in less harm to ground water.
(ii) It gives better results and makes use of lesser amount of water
(iii) He is using better ecofriendly chemicals for dry cleaning and saving environment. -

(a) Municipality should dispose sewage after proper treatment
(b) Immersion of statues should be controlled.
(c) People should not take bath with soap in rivers and should not wash clothes.
(d) Do not allow industries to dispose off untreated pollutants into river.
(ii) It leads to waterborne disease in animals as well as human beings
(iii) Dissolved oxygen reduces in water due to pollution and aquatic animals cannot survive in polluted water.
(iv) They saved yamuna from pollution and showed concern for environments.
