Students under these 3 categories can only apply for this scholarship. These categories are 10th class pass outs seeking support to complete their schooling, Undergraduates and Diploma/ ITI students. The application process for this scholarship will be started in January 2020. HP Udaan Scholarship can be applied through online mode only. This scholarship offered by HP India through its CSR Program. This scholarship is a pan-India program. So, it is available for students belonging to all states of the country. This program will provide scholarships to over 1,300 students from the lower-income groups in the next 3 years.
This program also promoting girl child education by reserving a total of 50% of the seats for girls. A total of 750 scholars will be shortlisted under this program in its first year. These scholars will be awarded a scholarship amount of up to Rs. 30,000 per year. HP Udaan Scholarship Program provides 3 different types of scholarships as given below:
1-Year Scholarships for Diploma/ ITI students
2-Year Scholarships for students enrolled in 11th Class

Eligibility/Qualifications
Students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the HP Udaan Scholarship:
One Year Scholarships for Diploma/ ITI students Eligibility
Students must have secured a minimum of at least 60% of marks in class 10th.
Students must have enrolled in a 1-Year Diploma/ ITI Course.
The student’s family income should not be more than 4 Lakhs per annum.
Two Year Scholarships for students enrolled in 11th Class Eligibility
Students must have secured a minimum of at least 60% of marks in class 10th.
Students must have enrolled in class 11th at a recognized school in India.
The student’s family income should not be more than 4 Lakhs per annum.
Three Year Scholarships for Undergraduate students Eligibility
Students must have secured a minimum of at least 60% of marks in class 12th.
Students must have enrolled in the first year of college at a recognized university in India.
The student’s family income should not be more than 4 Lakhs per annum.
One Year Scholarships for Diploma/ ITI students Eligibility
Students must have secured a minimum of at least 60% of marks in class 10th.
Students must have enrolled in a 1-Year Diploma/ ITI Course.

After clearing the screening round, students have to attend a telephonic interview.
Then, the panel will make the final decision based on the scholarship applications and performance in interview rounds.
After this, the final scholar’s list will be disclosed by the panel.
Then, the HP Udaan Scholarship will be awarded to the selected scholars.
